Yesterday we reported a list of K-Cups recently discontinued from the Timothy’s World Coffee K-Cup line. As of today, we have received an update from Timothy’s, broadening this list of eliminated flavors to five:
- Timothy’s Sumatran Gold Extra Bold
- Recommended Substitute: Timothy’s Mocha Java – A blend with the bright sweetness of Ethiopian beans and the hearty body of Indonesian beans. Enjoy exotic flavors and subtle nuances in this blend. With balanced flavor, this coffee is great black or with milk.
- Timothy’s Canarino Italian Hot Lemon Beverage
- Recommended Substitute: Timothy’s Lemon Blueberry Passion Tea – This caffeine free tea is an herbal blend with a tangy, fresh lemon taste. We have added a touch of hibiscus and blueberry to make it perfect. This fabulous refreshing tea is great with a drop of honey.
Previously reported:
- Timothy’s Decaffeinated French Vanilla
- Recommended Substitute: Timothy’s Decaffeinated Hazelnut – Enjoy our luscious combination of roasted hazelnut and French vanilla cream. Our best selling flavored coffee, without the caffeine.
- Timothy’s Decaffeinated Green Tea
- Recommended Substitute: Timothy’s Decaffeinated English Breakfast Tea - The same great taste of Timothy’s English Breakfast tea, without the caffeine. Steeps to a full-bodied and rich tea.
- Emeril’s Organic French Quarter Roast
- Recommended Substitute: Emeril’s Big Easy Bold – This classic Parisian roast is a thick, hearty blend. Its deep, dark color and invigorating aroma will definitely kick it up a notch. Big Easy Bold uses a minimum of 50% Rainforest Alliance Certified coffee beans.
These items are currently available in limited quantities, and will be phased out of the CoffeeGIANT inventory, effective immediately. If you have grown to love these items, we suggest stocking up while you can, or give the above recommended substitutions a try. If you are a fan of Canarino and know of a comparable beverage, please share your knowledge! Canarino is a one-of-a-kind flavor, as it is made primarily of lemon rinds (some how even a lemon tea just doesn’t have the same puckery piquancy).
